By downloading, installing, or using Otto ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

These terms are a legal agreement between you and Mimmiu ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of Otto.

Otto is an AI-powered car assistant that provides information about vehicles from 15+ manufacturers. The App:

Otto is NOT a substitute for professional mechanical diagnosis or repair. The information is for educational and informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified mechanic for:

  • Safety-critical repairs (brakes, steering, airbags)
  • Complex mechanical issues
  • Warranty-related work
  • Any repair you're not confident performing

No warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that:

  • Information is accurate, complete, or current
  • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Responses will solve your specific problem
  • Following advice won't cause damage

Use at your own risk

Vehicle repair can be dangerous. By using Otto, you acknowledge that:

  • You assume all risks associated with vehicle repairs
  • You are responsible for your own safety
  • You should verify information before acting on it
  • We are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses

The free tier includes 10 questions per day, unlimited conversations, and access to all features. The limit resets daily at midnight. Optional paid tiers are available with higher daily limits.

All content in the App, including design, code, user interface, Otto name and branding, and AI-generated responses, is the property of Mimmiu or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Otto is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any automobile manufacturer.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mimmiu, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, modify or discontinue the App without notice, or remove or change features. You can stop using Otto anytime by uninstalling it. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
